Hello, 
I am a student, constantly learning about this thing called life. I am an artist, enjoying the forms and shapes surrounding me. I am a worker, a creator of things to improve the quality of life of people around me. I am a husband and a father, which combines the student and teacher aspects of my inner self. My children are my opus, the most beautiful and meaningful creations in my life.

I make artwork in many forms, all of which come from within myself and are brought to fruition through my interaction with my wife and children. As my children become young adults, I now find that sharing the artistic creative process with my wife through the Art Bus totally rewarding. The joy children and adults get from their brief encounter with our project expands upon the artistic growth we began in college together.

We started the Art Bus on the premise that we would rekindle the artistic spark and flow of artwork we produced together prior to having our girls, and to provide a venue for Brenda’s Art Teaching abilities. It has grown to much more. As we hear children requesting our presence at parties and events, we realize that the art is touching folks on many levels, and the satisfaction of that brings everything full circle.

Hello,
I love creating art, especially with other people. I enjoy, and have dabbled in all forms of art, including sculpture, oil painting, jewelry making, carving, and ceramics. Printmaking, watercolor/acrylic painting and pen and ink are my favorite mediums to work with.  My fondness for this began with my love of scene painting in the theatre. The theatre is one of the best places to create art with a team. I moved on to teach children the art of scene painting and later to create Team Art, as an interactive instructor/art teacher. This is a method of working together in support of each other to create larger pieces of art. It’s a thrilling process. 

My husband and I met 20 years ago in a printmaking studio. Creating art since, especially with our children, has been the most special.
The best part about the Art Bus for me, is my family is together creating art and sharing ideas. I'm so glad we could make this happen. I'm so happy my husband made this happen. Let's create art! We want to share with you.
