The Art Bus is a mini bus that has been converted inside and out to become a mobile studio. We are a not-for-profit corporation with it’s primary function to sustain and promote the Arts throughout the state of New York and the Northeast. It is intended to foster the growth of a new generation of printmakers and painters, with particular emphasis on printmaking. We travel to public and private locations with the intention of engaging as many people of all age groups and skill levels in creative work and instructional sessions.

The personnel of the Art Bus are artists who wish to share their knowledge and experience with others, and have on board the materials and equipment necessary to provide a comfortable, creative space to produce new work or make progress on previously begun work. It is our goal to act as a stepping stone for aspiring artists into a future career in the Arts.

With your choice of musical atmosphere, we can accommodate 1 to 15 people, for varying amounts of time and intensity. Some clients want us to stay for two hours, others for two days. It is our flexibility, our equipped vessel and our desire to make each session the best time possible for our diverse client base that makes the Art Bus a logical and unique investment of time and energy for any event.
