How about these Lovies! I've carried art bags around my entire life. Take a look around your house. How are you going to make your art bag? You can do it! Be creative and have fun.

When I began to create the gift bags, fun was at the top of my list.
  • fun
  • hand stamped colorful cloth bags
  • quality
  • materials to create art with
  • handmade stamped booklet, with water color paper and stitched with twine.
  • and last but not least, every gift bag should have a crayon melted heart. :)

Printing with Bubble Paint

Printing or Painting with Bubbles is;_____ Yes it is, so much fun!
July 4th, 2015 was a day to remember.

1.Safety first- We do not want anyone to suck up any bubble paint through the straws.

To prevent this...
  • Take a pin and push it through the middle of the straws being used.

2. Mix bubble paint.
               I wish I could say I used measurements, but I didn't.

A splish, splash and a squirt of this and that.
  • Shallow bowls work best. I picked up these serving tray bowls at the Dollar Tree.
  • Put some acrylic paint in the bowl.
  • Add some bubble solution. Yes, you can use Dawn, but I found it easier to get the right mixture with a pre-mix solution.
  • Add a tsp. vegetable glycerin. If you do not have glycerin add a tsp. of vegetable oil. The oil helps with the dispersement of paint on the paper.
  • Follow with a little water and stir.
  • When you start blowing bubbles you can tell if the mixture is right and if you need more water or bubbles.

3. Blow Bubbles and lower heavy card stock paper down onto the bubbles. I           used 110 white card stock.

4. Perfect day, Awesome fun, Smiles and laughter, and Beautiful Art!

    Hello,
I love creating art, especially with other people. I enjoy, and have dabbled in all forms of art, including sculpture, oil painting, jewelry making, carving, and ceramics. Printmaking, watercolor/acrylic painting and pen and ink are my favorite mediums to work with.  My fondness for this began with my love of scene painting in the theatre. The theatre is one of the best places to create art with a team. I moved on to teach children the art of scene painting and later to create Team Art, as an interactive instructor/art teacher. This is a method of working together in support of each other to create larger pieces of art. It’s a thrilling process.

My husband and I met 20 years ago in a printmaking studio. Creating art since, especially with our children, has been the most special.
The best part about the Art Bus for me, is my family is together creating art and sharing ideas. I'm so glad we could make this happen. I'm so happy my husband made this happen.
Let's create art! We want to share with you.
